Charlie was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to Clifton Ray and Agnes Taylor. Charlie moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1990 from Key West, Florida. Charlie was a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy and was Leader of the Boy Scouts Troop 692.
Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Ray and Agnes Taylor Ray; brothers David Ray and James Ray.
Charlie is survived by his wife Deborah Ray; son, Joshua Ray; sister, Sandy Watkins; and grandchild Aubry Ray.
A Visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL 32506. With Funeral Service to follow from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. And Graveside Service will occur Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, FL 32508.
