On Thurs. April 21, 2022 at 9 am, there will be a Celebration of Life Service at First City Church, 1301 E. Gadsden St., Pensacola, FL 32501 followed by burial at Barrancas National Cemetery aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola.
Wayne was a Godly man & devoted husband of Gladys Calhoun, “his Darlin” who survives him. Wayne knew and loved God’s Word and dedicated his life in servitude to the Lord and as a Prayer Warrior. He is a US Army Veteran. Wayne attended college later in life and graduated Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude in Information Systems Technology from Northwood University in West Palm Beach, FL.
Wayne was fun to be around and the life of the party. He loved playing board games, card games and puzzles in his retirement.
He is survived by his five children Daniel, Michael, Austin, Taylor, Jordan; Dad, Thomas and Aunt Annette. Wayne was preceded in death by his Mom, Danna; uncles, Larry and Bill and brother, Dany.
