Alfred G. Farrant

Alfred was born July 15, 1926.

He was always helping his neighbors and the less fortunate. Always making sure every child in the neighborhood had a bicycle. Always taking care of his elderly neighbors, fixing their washers, dryers, lawn mowers or anything else that might need fixing.

He never considered himself old or elderly.

Alfred is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Farrant and Eva Mae Waterman, his first wife of 51 years, Lois Farrant, second wife, Nancy Brash, daughter, Brenda McKinley and two granddaughters, Cindy Roberts and Wendy Powell.

Alfred's survivors include his wife, Susan, son, Alfred George Farrant Jr. (Bonnie), daughter, Betty Garza (Bobby), grandchildren, Linda Reid, Tammy Olson (Marty), Lisa Malamas, Lois Ann White (John), Rachel Brown (Keith, in addition to many great and great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Michael Olson, Tim Wetzel, James (Bubba) Cole, Nick Malamas, Alen Dallman and Brandon White. Honorary pallbearers include Bobby Garza and Marty Thurber.

A visitation for Alfred will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534. A Funeral Service will occur Friday, October 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Milton Historic Cemetery, 501-599 Berryhill Rd, Milton, Florida 32570.
