Karen M. Fox, 51, of Bluff Point, NY passed away on Saturday May 23, 2015 at Geneva General Hospital.
Karen was born on February 7, 1964 in Bethlehem, PA, the daughter of Ronald & Sandy (Hawk) Weitknecht. She enjoyed her motorcycle, cooking, wine tasting, horseback riding and most of all, her cats. Karen had worked as the Secretary of Public Works for the Village of Penn Yan.
A memorial service for Karen will be held on Saturday, June 13 at 11:00am at the Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Karen’s name to Humane Society of Yates County, P.O. Box 12, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
Karen is survived by her husband of 31 years, Leonard Fox; mother, Sandy Weitknecht; brother, Ron Weitknecht; uncle, James Miller. She was predeceased by her father, Ronald Weitknecht.
