Wayne Treadwell

Steven Wayne Treadwell, age 56, of Vincent, Alabama passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Wayne was born May 25, 1965 to David and Eulene Treadwell who preceded him in death. Wayne is also preceded in death by his twin sister: Jane Treadwell Holston.

Wayne grew up and spent most of his life in Vincent on Treadwell Island. He had a wonderful life on the lake and embraced lake life to the fullest. He went to school at Coosa Valley Academy in Harpersville. As an adult his career began as an Electrician at Coosa Valley Electric as a lineman. Several years later, he transitioned into residential electrical work. He had a love of music from an early age and began playing guitar as a child. He moved on to the bass and played in many bands such as One Trick Pony, 4th and One, Smear and Sweater Monkeys to name a few. He was an authentically good person full of humor, love, light and magic. To know him was to love him instantly and be a lifelong friend.

Wayne is survived by his children: Joseph David Treadwell and Amanda Treadwell; granddaughter: Brooklyn Jane Treadwell; fiancé: Darla Love; step children: Kathryn Cooper and Mason Carrillo; brother-in-law: Rob Holston; and nephew: Tyler Treadwell.
