Terry Eugene Mixon

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judy; his daughter, Karen Mixon (Larry) Sewell; grandchildren, Ashley Goodgame (Scott) Morton, David Sewell (Rebecca), Kimberly Sewell (Jason) Sonanstine; three great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Marie (Jerome) Wilkins of Southside, Diane Reynolds of Anniston; brother-in-law, James (Dickie) Walker of Centre and many other loving nieces, nephews and relatives.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Freeman and Juanita Mixon.

Terry was born January 21, 1941 in Anniston, Alabama. He graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1959. He worked for Solutia Inc., Anniston and retired in 1996 with 36 years of service. He enjoyed working outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed serving the Lord and was a deacon at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church for the past ten years. He was a wonderful devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and loved by all. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, March 4 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service time. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
