Mr. Bennett passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Binns and his sister, Virginia Strickland.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rachael C. Bennett; sons, Tim (Kelley) Bennett and Dan (Francisca) Bennett; daughters, Beth Bennett, Nan Willis, Jill (Joe) Frazier; 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Unit at Col. Robert Howard VA Home Business Office in memory of Richard Bennett at 7054 Veterans Pkwy, Pell City, Alabama 35125.
