Hershel "Hurdie" Rogers

A celebration of life visitation for Hershel will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Pell City, followed by a celebration of life funeral service at 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt Zion Freewill Baptist cemetery.

Hershel is survived by his daughters, Connie Smith and Regina Walker; and; his granddaughter, Melinda Smith; sister-in-law, Betty Mickle and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Hershel was preceded in death by his wife, Melinda Rogers; his son, Randy Rogers; his mother, Dona Smith; his sister, Margie Mitchell; and his brother, Leon West.
