Evelyn Carol Osborn

Evelyn Carol Osborn of Riverside, Alabama passed away on November 16, 2023. She was a member of Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church in Pell City, Alabama and previously a member of Plainview Baptist Church in Tarrant, Alabama, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and played the piano some as well as New Georgia Baptist Church in Fultondale, Alabama. She was a graduate of Tarrant High School on May 30, 1956. She worked and retired from Infinity Insurance as their secretary.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William F. O’Dell parents, Revis and Lola Foster; brothers, Gerald Foster of Lakeland, Florida and Edward Foster of Fultondale, Alabama; sister, Helen Goodwin of Smokerise, Alabama; and her sons, John O’Dell and Darol O’Dell.

She is survived by her daughters, Anita Mozingo (Jeff) of Morris, Alabama, Renee Sayers (Jack) of Riverside, Alabama, and Denise Files (Lynn) of Pell City, Alabama; 7 grandchildren, Katie Aguirre, Adam Mozingo, Carol Tanner, Shae Barber, Brooke Groover, Tyler Files, and Brandon O’Dell; 12 great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Avery, Tucker, Mason, Mallory, Hayden, Hope, Maddox, Madilynn, Memphis, and Myles and Novali.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, November 20, 2023 in the chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the chapel on Monday. A private interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
