Funeral Service for Mr. Anthony "Tony" Perkins, age 55, will be held Monday, February 5 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. Interment will be at St. Clair Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Perkins passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Faye Owens.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Denise Brown Perkins; son, Anthony Caleb Perkins; daughter, Bethany Perkins Whaley (William), Cheyenne Creasy Quigley (Matt); parent, Johnny Perkins; sister, Pamela Schrader; step-sister, Tina Hower; grandchildren, William Christian Whaley and Zoe Whaley.
He retired from the Department of Justice after 25 years. He loved gardening and his family. He always went the extra mile to try to carry someone else's burden.
