Sharon Clements Kiker

Sharon Clements Kiker, age 69, Birmingham, Alabama went home to the Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 after a long struggle with breast cancer. The Mobile, Alabama native enjoyed a 38-year career in the legal profession in Birmingham.

Sharon graduated from Auburn University and was an avid fan of Auburn football. She loved working in the yard, planting beautiful flowers for each season. She was a wonderful cook and loved baking. She enjoyed sharing her creations with friends, neighbors, and the local fire station. She also enjoyed canning, and each year she canned green beans, tomatoes, pickles, and jelly. Her favorite jellies were fig and strawberry.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Lennie Clements. Survivors include Sharon's husband, Jim; sister, Lynda Lesley (Mike); nephew, Matt Lesley; niece, Courtney Remaley (Charlie), step-daughter, Caren Blankenship (Frank); 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124, followed by A Service of Remembrance for Sharon at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The private gravesite committal service will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
