Margaret (Peggy) Villeret, age 84, of Alabaster, AL. passed away on October 11, 2024. She was born on October 9, 1940, in Hattiesburg, MS. Peggy graduated from Mount Vernon High School and went on to attend the University of Southern Mississippi. She had a successful career in Real Estate working for JRH and Reality South.
Peggy was a member of North Shelby Baptist Church. She had a passion for serving others, God, and had a gift for encouraging others. Peggy enjoyed watching football and never missed a chance to cheer for the Alabama Crimson Tide, “Roll Tide!”
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Brig General William L. and Margaret Clark, sister, Patty Clark, and her loving husband, Lt. Colonel Lawrence Warren Villeret.
She leaves behind her children, Tammy Lott Lovell (Murray) and David Villeret (Leah); grandchildren, Ashley Lott Jackson (Sean), Meagan Lott, Emma Villeret, and Addison Villeret; brother, Roger Clark (Brenda); and several nieces and nephew.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Aveanna Hospice, including Kat and Kerrey, and her care givers with Eyes R On Us, Martha Horton and Linda Edwards.
Margaret's family will greet friends on Monday, October 14, 2024 at North Shelby Baptist Church, Birmingham, Alabama, from 10-11 a.m., followed by A Service of Remembrance at 11 a.m. at the church, 4100 Belcher Drive, Birmingham, AL 35242.
The gravesite committal service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Petal, MS 39465.
