Lillian was employed several years in custodial work at St. Stephens Episcopal Church and Grantswood Elementary School. Her favorite pastimes included spending time with her family, flower gardening, and quilting.
Lillian was predeceased by her husband, J.T. Jennings, to whom she was married on March 27, 1960 and her grandson, William Dalton Symington (27yrs old).
Survivors include Lillian's children, Pam Perryman (Tom), Donna Hall (Jeff), Frances Dodson (Tim), Judy Jennings, John Jennings, and Renea Ryum (David); 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lorraine Bearden; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, March 6, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124, followed by A Service of Remembrance for Lillian Jennings at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham. Rev. Carrie Waldrop will officiate.
