Frances Graham Taylor passed away on October 22, 2016 at the age of 73. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Verna Graham; and 8 siblings. Frances is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard Taylor; children, Alice (Pat) McDuffee, Cathy (Mark) Smiley, and Sam (Kasey) Taylor; grandchildren, Megan McDuffee, Clark Smiley, Jenny Smiley, Samantha Taylor, Keith Taylor, Sadie Taylor; sisters, Eleanor (Dwight) Terry and Gail (Gene Padgham) Jones; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Frances went on to work at the Alabama Department of Mental Health in Montgomery for 24 years. In her retirement Frances enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing, and family time. There will be a celebration of Frances’ life at Southern Heritage funeral Home on Thursday the 27th at 3pm with visitation starting one hour prior. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
