Ellen Foster Hall

Ellen Foster Hall born September 16, 1954, in Vicksburg, MS, grew up in Bristol, TN and later moved to Montgomery, AL. Ellen passed away peacefully December 2, 2022, at home in Alabaster, AL surrounded by family.

She graduated from Lanier High in 1972. She was a lifelong employee of NCR Corporation for 41 years. After retirement she devoted her time loving on her family and grandsons.

She was proceeded in death by her father Richard Colyer Foster Jr., Mother Frances Hailey Foster, and younger brother Jack Hailey Foster. She is survived by her husband of 48 years William Harrelson Hall (Hal), daughter Alison Hall Wine, older brother Steven Colyer Foster, sister Nancy Foster Weed, grandsons James Douglas Wine III (JD) and Zachary Harrelson Wine.

A visitation will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL December 8, 2022, from 10am – 12pm graveside 12:30pm at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.

Ellen was always supportive of mission trips her family members participated in.
