Dorothy "Chris" Christine Curlee

Dorothy Christine Curlee "Chris", age 90, of Birmingham, AL passed away on January 17, 2021. She graduated from Holtville High school where she met the love of her life Thomas Warren Curlee. Chris went on to obtain a Bachelor's in Home Economics at Montevallo University. Her favorite past times were spending time cooking, sewing by hand, enjoying time at the lake with family and friends.

Chris is preceded in death by her parents; Buford and Molly Lawrence; loving husband of 49 years Thomas Warren Curlee; siblings, Houston Lawrence, Fred Lawrence, Avoleen Durden, Henry Lawrence, Mary Davis, Floyd Lawrence.

She leaves behind her children, Nancy Connor (Buck), and Randy Curlee (Betsy); grandchildren, Elizabeth McLemore (Nick), Mitchell and David Curlee, Richard, Robert, and Chrissy Connor.

great-grandchildren, Mason and Erica Curlee, Austin and Blake McLemore.

Pallbearers will include, Mitchell and David Curlee, Richard and Robert Connor, Nick McLemore and Michael Young.

A special thanks to Magnolia Place for the love and care that was given to Chris.

Visitation will be Friday, January 22, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
