Carolyn then moved to Pensacola, Florida, where she graduated from the University of West Florida in 1983. While at the University of West Florida, Carolyn was a member of Phi Mu and co-opted with South Central Bell, where she began her lifelong career in telecommunications. Carolyn worked in telecommunications for 40 years. She was known for her passionate pursuit of excellence and dedication to her career. Her innovative thinking, problem solving skills, and depth of knowledge led to a successful career as a leader and someone everyone could count on.
In her free time, Carolyn enjoyed volunteering with the AT&T Pioneers, photography, and reading. Above all, Carolyn cherished spending time with her family. Her nurturing spirit and loving companionship touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
