Antoinette Marie Sicola Pillitteri, 85, of Helena, Alabama, a long-time parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, passed away quietly on Monday, December 4, 2023. She was a loving and caring inspiration to all, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Antoinette was predeceased by her husband, Sam A. Pillitteri, and her parents, Charles and Frances Sicola. Survivors include one daughter, Donna McKay; four sons, Peter Pillitteri, Charles Pillitteri, Sam A. Pillitteri Jr. (Patricia), and Joseph Pillitteri (Christy); six grandchildren, Michelle McKay, Hope Roberson (Chris), Grace Pillitteri, Matthew Pillitteri, Michael Pillitteri, and Mark Pillitteri; two great-grandchildren, Jolene Roberson and Micah Roberson; two sisters, Carolyn Juliano and Marie Vizzina; one brother, Sam Sicola; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 12-1 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham.
