PEKIN ~ Shelly Bryant Swanson, 50, of Pekin, passed away at 9:22 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Pekin Hospital.
She was born October 2, 1962 in Pekin to William and Bonnie S. (Kraft) Bryant.
Surviving are her mother and step-father, Bonnie and Floyd Montgomery of Spring Lake; her father and step-mother, William and Cindy Bryant of Champaign; three sons, Michael (Stephanie) Magee of Middleburg, Florida, Shane Magee and Chad Rife, both of Pekin; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Scott Montgomery of Manito and Benjamin Bryant of Champaign; one sister, Natalie Bryant of Champaign; and her two friends who helped care for her, Steve Gifford, Sr. and Dan Bailey.
Her visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation rites will be accorded.
