She was born on October 25, 1944 in Delavan to Roy A. and Fern O. (Robeson) Green. They preceded her in death along with two brothers, Loel E. Green and R. Kenneth Green; one niece, Denise Evans; and three nephews, Farron Evans, Troy Evans and Steve Green.
Maxine is survived by her sister, Virginia “Ginnie” Soper of Pekin; and beloved nieces and nephews, Kay Reagan, Gerald (Diana) Green, Robert (Lois) Green, Bruce (Tracy) Evans, Marsha (Bruce) Brothers, Jean Gensel, Donald (Diana) Green, William (Jeanie) Green, Linda (Paul) Ranney and Dawn Green; and many great nieces and nephews.
Maxine worked for the post office and then retired from Zeller Mental Health where she was a housekeeper. She was a United States Army Veteran.
Maxine loved genealogy and often spent her free time traveling and doing research for her family. She spent countless hours visiting cemeteries and lovingly taking care of their place of rest.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin.
Visitation will be held an hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
