Mary Woodworth

She was born March 18, 1947 in Pekin to Charles W. and Eloise (Broome) Woodworth. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Roberta Hadsall and one brother, Chumley (Ann) Woodworth.

Surviving are one daughter, Jaimee Noble of Galesburg; one son, Danny Wisdom of Russelville, Arkansas; two brothers, Larry (Patty) Woodworth and Jeff (Patti) Woodworth, both of Pekin; 12 grandchildren, Madeline (Kain) Woodruff, Alyvia Noble, Christina White, Emily Vance, Jamie Bomhold, Samantha Hallam, Jessica Wisdom, Brianna Wisdom, Amanda Tatum, Justin Wisdom, Monica Wisdom and Christopher Wisdom; many great-grandchildren and several nieces.

She worked as a clerk for the Tazewell County Sheriff's office for 16 years.

Mary was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Pekin and The Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She enjoyed crocheting, reading Stephen King novels, watching true crime shows and Turner Classic Movies. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

A gathering celebrating Mary’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
