Mary Jo Rowell

Born on October 18, 1947 in Bloomington, IL to Edward Lloyd and Barbara Ellen (Garrett) White; she married Frank Rowell on May 29, 1973 in Pekin, IL. He preceded her in death in 2003.

Also preceding in death were her daughter, Tonya Rowell; sons, Lawrence and Timothy Rowell; and brother, Lee Edward White.

Surviving are her sons, Frank (Valerie) Rowell of American Canyon, CA and Fred (Traci) Rowell of East Peoria, IL; grandchildren, Bryan Rowell and Sarah Lyons; step-grandchildren, Sommer, Alexandra, Travis, Rachel and Elizabeth; and sisters, Barbara Jean Bowers of Washington and Kathleen Preston of Marquette Heights.

Mary worked at the Diamond Star Motors factory in Bloomington for many years.

She was a longtime member of Eagles Aerie #1869 in Pekin.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, collecting lighthouses and watching hummingbirds.

Most of all, Mary loved her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:30 Friday, June 14, 2019 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Steve Weber will officiate. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
