Linda Mae Lacey

Born November 30, 1947 in Pekin to Ora and Mary (Herron) Denning, Jr.,she married Earl Lacey on February 15, 1969. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Brian (Meera) Lacey and Brent (Lisa) Lacey, both of San Diego, California; four grandchildren, Riley, Cassidy, Nikhil, Sahana and one brother, Cliff Denning.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ralph Denning and one sister, Peggy Clifton.

A homemaker, Linda had many passions. She loved to garden, antique shopping and was a “shopaholic” for anything Mickey Mouse. Her family loved her “red-headed personality”. Linda was a wonderful source of support for her family, traveling to San Diego to see her sons and attend her grandchildren’s events.

A gathering celebrating her life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
