Jessie M. Shue Carrington

Jessie M. Carrington, age 77 of Green Valley, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at her residence. She was born December 25, 1935 in Pekin to Elmer and Jessie (Dikes) Shue. She married Eugene Carrington October 16, 1954 in Pekin. He passed away April 27, 2007 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by one son, Larry Carrington; three brothers, Richard, Charles and Elmer Shue; and two sisters, Nancy Farley and Dorothy Herberger. Survivors include three sons: Gary Carrington of Green Valley, Brian (Sandra) Carrington of Delavan, Darren Carrington Sr. of Green Valley; one grandson, Darren (Jessica) Carrington Jr. of Glasford; one granddaughter, Brei Carrington of South Pekin; one great-grandson, Dayton Carrington of South Pekin; one great-granddaughter, Emily Jean Carrington of Glasford; three step-grandchildren: Josh (Virginia) Smith, Kevin Butler, Hayley Butler; three brothers: Frank (Loretta) Shue of Pekin, Jerry (Linda) Shue of Pekin, and Windle (Debbie)Shue of Piedmont, MO. Jessie worked at Pekin Corn Products/Pekin Energy for over 20 years, retiring December 18, 1996. She was a proud member of the NRA. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be family services. Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to Jessie's great-grandchildren's education fund through Red Brand Credit Union.
