Eva F Roberts

Born December 8, 1923 in Spring Bay to John and Eva Rebecca (Fisher) Garber, she married William Roberts, Sr. on August 3, 1946 in Peoria. He died August 3, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one infant daughter, Shelly Roberts; two brothers; and three sisters.

Surviving are three daughters, Tanya (William) Gould and Vickie Montgomery, both of Peoria, and Jill (Darin Gleason) Roberts of Manito; three sons, William, Jr. (Cheryl) Roberts of Miami, FL, Joseph (Kellie Felmey) Roberts of Washington, and Frank Roberts of Michigan; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Eva had worked at Caterpillar, Inc. for 10 years and later at Foster & Gallagher in Peoria for 15 years, retiring in 1998.

Eva was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.

Private visitation and services will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
