Born February 8, 1930 in Granite City to Carl and Sadie (McCoy) Kearney, she married Roy Cecil Bonnette on July 7, 1946 in Pekin. He survives
Also surviving are two sons, Jack D. (Beverly) Bonnette of Tremont and Joel A. (Nancy) Bonnette of Pekin; one daughter, Joy L. (Steve) Dodd of Pekin; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She also leaves her daughter-in-law, Joyce Bonnette of Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Eugene F. Bonnette on August 5, 2007 and one brother.
Dolores was a homemaker and liked to crochet. She also formerly loved roller skating, camping and gardening.
She was a member of Driven Church, formerly First Assembly of God in Pekin.
She will be remembered as a real prayer warrior who loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Joel Bonnette, her son, will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
