Darren was born October 3, 1986 in Peoria to Duane and Deborah (Stockert) Brod.
Surviving are his parents; one brother, Nicholas Brod of Peoria; one sister, Jayme (Andy) Yerbic of Canton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Emil and Frances Stockert; and his paternal grandparents, George and Eileen Brod.
Darren had worked at Walmart in Pekin for nine years in Electronics department.
He loved everything electronics and computers, reading and writing. He always helped people and had a love for animals.
Inurnment will be held at 10 a.m. September 6, 2024 at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
