Danny James Woulfe

Born June 12, 1954 in St. Elmo to Donald Francis and Delight Ann (Rhodes) Woulfe, he married Sharon Kay “Sherry” Meadows on October 5, 1972 in Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Shannon (Angela) Woulfe of Dubuque, Iowa; three grandsons, Dylan Woulfe, Kyle Woulfe and Brandon Woulfe; three brothers, David (Gail) Woulfe of Green Valley, Bob Woulfe of Pekin and Randy (Pam) Callaway of Pekin; two sisters, Cathy (Dave) Snider of Indianapolis and Tina (George) Rudd of Glasford.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Laverne Callaway; one daughter, Jamie Woulfe; one brother and two sisters.

Danny last worked for Midwest Central School District 191 in maintenance for 10 years. He previously had worked for Matcor Metal Fabrication in Morton for 26 years.

His passion was music, both playing the guitar and singing. He also enjoyed woodworking, making cabinetry and carving.

He enjoyed camping and fishing at Stone Fort near Galesburg for more than 10 years.

His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Chuck Tate will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.
