Brittany Nicole Sharp

Born June 19, 1985 in Peoria, she was a daughter of Gregory Alan and Renee Lynn (Roeder) Sharp.

Surviving are her parents, Greg and Renee Sharp of Pekin; two sons, Jace Cameron Tassart and Landon Edward Barcomb; one brother, Cory (Elizabeth) Sharp of Pekin; her nephew, Benjamin Sharp; her niece, Eleanora Sharp. She also leaves her maternal grandmother, Pat McMullin of Pekin; paternal grandfather, Jim Sharp of Pekin and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Wilma Sharp and maternal grandfathers, Richard Roeder and Jim McMullin.

She was a 2003 graduate of Pekin Community High School.

Brittany last worked for Cusack Orthodontics as an orthodontist assistant and also had worked for ICPR Family Practice as a medical assistant for many years.

Her hobby was her kids and she loved watching them dancing in the kitchen and at their sporting and other activities. She loved her annual trips to Destin, Florida with her family. She also was fond of baking and reading, along with antiquing with her mom and grandma.

Brittany was a selfless person who had a servant’s heart, a love for her family, and always a bright smile no matter what.

A memorial visitation celebrating her life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for her children in care of the funeral home.
