Born September 13, 1929 in Pontotoc, MS to Ancel and Gertrude (Jordan) Thompson, she married John Thacker on December 23, 1952 in Pekin. He died February 6, 2012 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are two sons, Richard (Wanda) Thacker of Alia, HI, and John “Mark” (Diane Hutter) Thacker of Pekin and two sisters, Virginia Keenan of Auburn, MI, and Jackie (G.A.) Crosby of Cordova, TN.
Bonnie worked at Pekin Insurance for 28 years, retiring in 1989, as a commercial lines underwriter.
She was an active member of Emmanuel Community Church in Pekin.
Bonnie loved to golf and bowl.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2013 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
