Barbara Jean Parker

Born September 27, 1946 in Minot, North Dakota to Clarence and Almeda (Ramey) Blair, she married William “Bill” Parker on May 9, 1990 in Pekin. He died Feb 9, 2010 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Mary Jo Myers, Ronald Blair and Douglas Blair.

Surviving are one son, Troy (Julie) Coon of Manito; four step-children, Jarret Parker, Tracey Baer, Melissa Adams and Brent Baer; one grandson, Brayden Coon and one sister, Brenda (Kevin) Skaggs and one brother-in-law, Charles Ebby Myers.

Barb retired in 2009 after 35 years as a shift supervisor for CVS Pharmacy.

In her free time she enjoyed fishing, bowling and spending time with family and friends.

Her memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday March 10, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Stephen Greer will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin at a later date.
