Born December 7, 1966 in Pekin to Kenneth and Frances (Durr) Cook, he married Angela Hillyer on October 2, 2001 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives.
Also surviving are his father Kenneth of Pekin; one son, Michael (Michelle) Hillyer of Havana; one grandson, Jayden Hillyer of Havana; two step-brothers, Dennis and Martin Eibeck.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one granddaughter, Rosemary in January, 2018 in Havana.
Aaron had been a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin.
He had attended Pekin Community High School.
Aaron had worked as a truck driver, last working for Midland Davis Corporation in Pekin for 6 years. Prior to this, he had worked for Mahoney, DJ Co. for 15 years. He had also worked for Tazewell County Resource Center for 2 years.
He was an avid hunter and also enjoyed fishing and camping.
There will be no service or visitation. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
With Aaron being the recipient of a kidney transplant in 2011, the family requests memorial contributions be given to the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois, 215 W. Illinois, Suite 1C, Chicago, IL 60610.
