Olivia "Boobie" was born on December 9, 1967 to Jimmie Vorish and Taylor Monroe in Houston, Texas.
She was the baby girl out of two daughters. Olivia was a very caring person, and everyone that knew her would always see that smile on her face along with that "sneaky giggle". Olivia was dedicated to her family and cherished her girls, niece, nephews, grandchildren and great nieces/nephews. We all knew how much she loved listening to her music (rapping at age 50) and dancing. She was either called "Boobie" or "Leeba" by her family, which whom she loved dearly. Olivia was a member of The Church at Bethel's Family and was an active member up to her becoming ill. Olivia grew up (in what we call) "Sunnyside Texas". Where she attended Carnegie Elementary, Woodson Jr. High and Worthing Sr. High School. Olivia was an awesome Daughter, Sister, Mom, Auntie and Grandmom. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Olivia was preceded in death by her Father: Taylor Monroe; Grandparents: Milton and Mable Vorish; and a host of love ones. Olivia leaves to cherish her memories: Mother: Jimmie Vorish-Tones (Donald Tones);
Sister: Charlette Vories, Cheryl Smith; Brother: Lester Jackson; Brother from Another Mother: Dennis Ross, Jr.; Daughters: Shyquillia Vorish and Jazmyn Vorish; Nephews: Keithan, Keric, Taylor and Jeremy; Niece: Chasitee Vorish; Grandkids: Larry, Majesty and Messiah; Aunt: Patricia; Uncles: Horace (Kay),
Thomas (Cynthia) and Robert (Sharnell); and a Host of Cousins and Friends.
A visitation for Olivia will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park South Funeral Home. The funeral service to celebrate the life of Olivia Shantel Vorish will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Forest Park South Funeral Home.
