Marian "Gigi" Louise Duchesneau

Marian Louise Duchesneau passed away on February 6, 2024 at the home she shared with her daughter, Kari Smith, in Pearland, Texas. Marian spent 79 wonderful years spreading joy to any and all around her and is survived by those who call her Gramma, her granddaughters Heather Autrey and Brittany Sumrall, those who call her Gigi, her great-grandchildren Ashlee Autrey, Wyatt Autrey, Raelynn Smith and Landon Sumrall.

Marian’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to have her in our lives understand that her existence and the imprint she will forever leave on our hearts is forever. A comfort to many and a joy to all, most of her time was spent taking care of her family and her friends, and not a day went by when she didn’t talk about how much her growing family meant to her. When Marian wasn’t working she could be found with a cup of coffee and a deck of cards, never taking it easy on her opponent, whether a friend or grandchild. A loving and wonderful woman until the very end, Marian will be greatly missed.

Services are still being organized, but will be held in Colorado this Summer so those closest to her can be in attendance. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, an organization near and dear to Marian’s heart.
