Donald Lloyd Levi

Donald Lloyd Levi, age 82, of Richmond, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Donald was born in Campti, Louisiana on January 1, 1940. Donald graduated from Booker T. Washington where he received his High School Diploma and continued his education to receive a Certification in Engineering. He was married to Rosa Maria Levi for 40 years. Donald had a career in Engineering as a 3rd Engineer for the Department of Defense with Military Sealift Command. His passions in life included golf and traveling. Donald was affectionately known as "Poppo". He was everyone's grandpa. Donald was loving, as cool as a fan, and was a charmer.

Donald is survived by his wife, Rosa Maria Levi; children, Kevin Levi (Gretchen), Craig Levi, Naaja Levi-Maxwell (Rogelio), Tara Levi-Burris (Jared), Einalyn Levi, David Levi (Princess), Aurea Levi-Bernal (Gerald), and Timothy Levi; grandchildren, Kory Levi, Delano Maxwell, Kristopher Levi, Crenice Levi, Dulce Maxwell, Kailyn Levi, Paige Levi, Mikela Levi, De Angelo Levi, Reina Levi, Landon Burris, Jaqoya Landry-Brokenbough and Shynik Landry Greene; great-granddaughter, Solana Osaji. Other surviving relatives include his brothers, William Lutha Levi, Jr., Osborne Levi, Curtis Levi, and Herbert Levi; his sister, Patricia Levi-Napier; and a host of nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, William Lutha Levi, Sr. and Gladys Bell Levi; brothers William Alfred Wilson, Kenneth Levi; and sister, Vivian Dearborne; great-grandson, Dorian Chatman. He loved and had so many additional people; so much that he has adopted many as his own kiddos and grandkids.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Forest Park South Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life of Donald Lloyd Levi will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Forest Park South Funeral Home.
