Wilma Ree Pierce

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 10am – 11am at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Pierce will be laid to rest at 2pm in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Newton.

Mrs. Pierce was born September 22, 1931 to William and Mae Anna Morris. She was a faithful member of Truitt Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Pierce drove a school bus for the Pearl School District for 19 years and loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed being outdoors and tending to her yard and flowers. In her younger years she enjoyed fox hunting with her husband.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pierce is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jeff Pierce; her daughter, Sheila Pierce Moczygemba, and son, Roger Allen Pierce.

She is survived by sons, Jeff Pierce and Scottie Pierce; daughter, Renita Pierce Case; grandchildren, Monica McKenzie and husband Chip, Alexandria Nicole Pierce Loveall and husband Brian, Jeffery Blake Ellis Pierce, Shelby Reeann Pierce, Heather Marie Pierce, Tyler Lane Case and wife Brittany, and Bradley Allen Pierce; and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Zachary and Taylor McKenzie, Trevon, Tailynn and Toby Case, Brayden Allen Greene, Cody Blake Barnett, and Eli Alexander Pierce.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made for Mrs. Pierce’s great niece at Citizens Bank in care of Kim Grantham, 24 Pine St, Sebastopol, MS 39359.
