Becky was born, Sara Rebecca Donaldson on November 27, 1947 in Jackson, MS. After marrying the love of her life, Charlie Watson in 1980, they lived in Brandon, MS and retired to Eagle Lake, Ms. She and Charlie moved back to Brandon in their later years to spend more time with family. Becky and Charlie were active members of Eagle Lake Methodist Church. After moving back to Brandon, Becky joined Fannin Global Methodist Church and enjoyed her time working and worshipping as an active member there. She also loved serving others through nursing. Her civilian career was spent as an operating room Registered Nurse working at River Oaks Hospital and other area hospitals for many years. She proudly served her country in the Mississippi Air National Guard while traveling all over the world as a Flight Nurse. After active duty in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm, she retired as a Lt Colonel from the MS Air National Guard.
Finally, Becky loved her large family, numerous friends, and her dogs. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grands. She loved attending their ball games, dance recitals and family functions. Dogs held a special place in Becky’s heart. In fact, she affectionately referred to herself as “Doggy Mom”. She and Charlie loved and nurtured countless hunting and rescue doggies over the years, spoiling them all rotten. She will be greatly missed by all 3 of her current dogs: Buddy Buck, Sam and especially Biscuit, who was so protective of her momma.
