Ray Arnold

Visitation will be 2:00-4:00pm, Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am, Monday, December 22, 2014 at Brandon Baptist Church with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.

Mr. Arnold was a faithful member of Brandon Baptist and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WWII. He retired from Entergy in 1994 after more than 49 years of dedicated service. His hobbies included gardening and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge and Virgie Arnold, sister, Eskel Madden, and great-grandson, James Poling.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Bessie Arnold; son, Terry Arnold (Ellen); daughter Judy Young (Bill); brothers, J.C Arnold and Jerry L. Arnold, Sr.; sisters, Mary Cox and Martha Sue Jones; grandchildren, Kathy Brown (Greg), Karen Young, Neola Young, Anna Odom (Paul) and Aaron Arnold; and 4 great-grandchildren.
