He was a retired truck driver who spent most of his life on the road. He loved Nascar racing and he never missed a race, whether at home or with his friends. His neighbors spoke of his kindness through many conversations they had with him over the years. Kim was a generous soul and would give you his last dollar if you needed it.
Kim grew up in Northern Georgia mountains. He asked his sister, April Lowery, to spread his ashes on the mountain side. April Lowery and her family will honor his wishes and take his ashes to the Georgia mountain and set him free like a bird forever.
Kim is survived by his sister, April Lowery and her husband Perry Lowery, his brother Tony Smith and his wife Maria Smith, nieces Angela Harrell and Sabrina Smith, nephews Shane Turnage, Brian Thomas, Michael Thomas, Dylan Smith, great-niece Bailey Thomas, great-nephews Colby Harrell, Caden Harrell, Bridley Thomas, Brady Thomas and Nolan Thomas.
In addition to his parents, Kim was preceded in death by his sister, Mitzi Victoria Partlow.
