Martha Ashley Brady, of Pearl, joined our eternal Father August 5, 2021. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 8, 2021, from 2pm to 5pm and funeral services Monday, August 9, 2021, at 10am located at Baldwin Funeral Home in Pearl, MS. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
Martha was born in Simpson County on May 28, 1945 to Johnnie and Myrtle Ashley. She is preceded in death by her husband Jackie Glenn Brady, father Johnnie Ashley and mother Myrtle Miller, as well as her brother Jerrel Ashley.
She is survived by two sisters, Bobbie Smith (Larry) and Linda Parrett (Red) and brother, John Ashley (Carol). She leaves behind her daughters, Shirlene Tolar (Dennis), Stacie Daniels (Jimmy), Candice Cornwell, and adopted son Michael Brady. Her grandchildren were her life, and she lived for all 9 of them and 8 great-grandchildren.
Martha retired from Entergy Corporation as an Accountant in 2004, with 28.5 years of service, and most recently was employed with Bellenger Lumber Company and H&R Block. She completed her Accounting degree at Mississippi College in May of 1999. Martha enjoyed laughing and traveling with her friends: but most of all, spending time with her whole entire family.
