Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. The family will receive friends, 12:00-2:00pm, prior to services.
Mrs. Schmitt was born January 13, 1932 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Edward Richard Sneed and Ruby Ann Harlan Sneed and was a resident of Rankin County for more than 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Schmitt in 2010; daughter, Peggy Joyce Schmitt; as well as an infant daughter.
Survivors include sons, Richard Schmitt and wife Tammy and Kenneth Schmitt; sister, Carolyn Sneed Meyer; and grandsons, Hayden Schmitt and Devin Schmitt.
