Frank was born December 2, 1937, in Burns, Mississippi, a son of the late James B. Parker and Evelyn Valentine Parker. A decorated veteran, he served our country in both the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Army. Frank enjoyed people and had an innate ability to put others at ease, allowing many to instill trust in him. His personality, coupled with a keen sense of detail, served him well throughout his lengthy and successful career as in independent insurance agent.
Frank’s true passion was music and he was gifted with a beautiful voice. This was never more evident than when he was singing with his church family at New Vision Church of the Nazarene.
Frank is survived by his wife, Betty Parker, and her children, Maurice Brown, and Jay Brown; step-daughters, Renee Arrington, and Deborah McInnis; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, June 4, 2022, at New Vision Church of the Nazarene in Jackson.
