Mr. Ralph F. Boyd, 91, of Peachtree City, Georgia died on Wednesday, July 24, 2013. He was born in Braintree, Massachusetts in 1921. Ralph served in the Army-Air Force during World War II as an airplane and engine mechanic stationed in England. He retired from the State of New York as a natural gas line inspector.
Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife Shirley A. Boyd, daughters Kathleen Flynn of Roslindale, MA and Lynn Wallace of Peachtree City, GA, and sons Paul Boyd of New York, NY and Larry Moore of Sarasota, FL. Ralph leaves six grandchildren: the late Danya Crumbley, Tara Wallace, Isabel Flynn, Colin Flynn, Isaac Goodman-Boyd, and Emmett Goodman-Boyd.
Visitation will be held at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral will be held on the same day at 3:00 pm at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City.
