Willie Clinton Hamlin Jr.

Willie Clinton Hamlin Jr., age 70, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 21, 2024. He was born on August 10, 1953 in Macon, Georgia to the late Pearl (nee Alvarado) and Willie Hamlin Sr. Willie was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1974 to 1978. He was a carpenter by trade, and was the current construction site superintendent for Mark-L Construction Services. Willie never met a stranger, and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was an avid motorcycle rider, and enjoyed taking bike trips alongside his wife. Willie is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Rebecca (nee Noe) Hamlin; children, Dollie (nee Hamlin) Schultz, Craig (Martina) Hamlin, and Casey (Ana) Hamlin; grandchildren, Jackson, Hadley, London, and Marlowe; sisters, Nancy (John) Kimble and Betty (Rick) Lamp; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. A visitation for Willie will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main Street, Pataskala, Ohio 43062. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Willie will be laid to rest with military honors in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43213.
