Marilyn L. Martin, 51, of Pataskala, passed away unexpectedly on November 14, 2014 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. She was born on August 16, 1963 in Columbus, OH, a daughter to Harold Martin and Kathryn Upchurch. She has been employed by Lawyer John Peters for seventeen years and is a member of Women of The Moose, Chapter 865. Marilyn is a diehard Buckeye football fan and enjoyed going to the games on Saturdays. She is survived by her brothers, Mark (Jennifer) Hoppe, Timothy (Tina) Martin and Anthony (Cass) Martin; god mother, Lucinda Kollmer; nieces, Olivia Hoppe, Sophia Hoppe, Deona Martin and several other nieces and nephews. Marilyn is preceded in death by her brother, James Martin. Friends may call from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday in KAUBER-SAMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH, 43062. Funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Snoddy officiating. Interment will be in Pataskala Cemetery.
