Ernest Leroy Williamson, 91, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was born December 4, 1932 in Whitehall, Ohio to the late Arthur and Dorothy Williamson. Ernest proudly served his Whitehall community as a firefighter. He loved to go to the casinos, play a round of golf, color pictures, put together jigsaw puzzles, travel to the beach and mountains, and spend time with his family. Ernest is survived by his loving children, Cindy Trimble, Marsha (Guy) Gibson, Greg (Susan) Williamson, Dennis (Shirley) Williamson, Carl (Shawn) Williamson, and Emma (Tony) Kitts; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to his parents, Ernest is preceded in passing by his beloved wife of 59 years, Mary Williamson, and son-in-law, Dwight Presler. Family and friends may call from 8:00-9:30 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, Ohio 43062. A funeral service is to follow at 9:30 a.m., with Cliff Harber officiating. Ernest will be laid to rest at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio.
