Dawn Michelle Martin

Dawn Michelle Martin, 55, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday July 30, 2024. She was born in Newark Ohio on January 30, 1969 to parents John (Joyce) Mackie and Nancy (William) Gracher.

Dawn fought and beat cancer several times along with several other health conditions. Her strong belief in the Lord and her love for her children and grandchildren was her inspiration to fight. In her alone time she enjoyed writing, coloring, photography, and spending time with her dog, Nanook.

Dawn is survived by her parents, John (Joyce) Mackie and Nancy (William) Gracher, her husband of 34 years, William Martin; her children, John (Heather) Mackie III, Moerike (Cody) Martin, Ashlee (Michael) Martin, Joshua (Brittany) Martin; her grandchildren, Jae’den, Ki’ree, Laura, Joseph, and Ni’kai.; along with her two sisters, Amy Mackie and Chris (Mark) Ross; and several other loved ones.

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Dawn will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, Ohio at 1pm on Thursday, August 8, 2024. The family will receive friends on Wednesday August 7, 2024 from 6-8 pm at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home 289 S Main Street, Pataskala, Ohio 43062.
