William T. Ervin Sr., passed away July 24, 2014. Born November 26, 1920 in Galveston, Texas. Married 61 years to his love Rose Jean. Survived by two sons, Michael A. Ervin and wife Judy and William T. Ervin Jr. and his wife Stacy. Four grandchildren, Josh, Brian, Jenny and Justin. Two great grandchildren Eli and Toby. One brother Robert and wife Sandra. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his sister, Lillian Billingsley. “Wild Bill” retired from Shell as a supervisor after 35 years. Member of First Baptist Church of Deer Park since 1957. Served as Corporal in U.S. Marine Corps. during WWII.

Visitation will be held Tuesday July 29, 2014 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 12:30pm also at Grand View Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Grand View Memorial Park/Bethany.
