Thomas Clay Hulsey was born on December 30, 1944, in Pasadena, TX to Lynard and Francis Hulsey . Thom was the youngest of 3 chrildren. He has 1 sister and 1 brother.
Husband, Dad, Papaw, Friend are just a few names for this humble man. Thom was a man of few words and little emotion, but he loved his family and friends dearly. Most of all he loved his wife. When Thom lost his wife in August of 2021, he lost a piece of himself. Life as he had known for the last 35 years was not the same for him and his one desire was to be with his wife again.
Thom enjoyed hunting and looked forward to hunting season each year, not just for the hunt but to spend time with his brother and friends. When it was not hunting season, he spent a lot of time in his wood working shop making bird feeders, squirrel feeder and whatever else he could create. He was a man of many trades, carpentry, plumbing electrical, whatever need to be done, he could do it.
Thomas Clay Hulsey is preceded in death by his wife Imogene Hulsey, his father Lynard Hulsey, his mother Francis Hulsey Dowden and his stepfather Paul Dowden.
Thomas Clay Hulsey is survived by his sister Darlene Zoog, his brother Walter Hulsey and his wife Camille, daughter Kim Shephard and her husband Jimmy, son Thomi Hulsey and his wife Kelly, son Todd Hulsey, daughter Jan Rodriquez, stepson Steve Phillips and his wife Michelle, stepdaughter Beverly Cooper, stepson David Phillips, 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory because a treasure. You will be greatly missed Thom.
