Prayers sent to the family as you attempt to move past Scott's death . So sorry to hear of his passing. I remember working around Scott some when he was an apprentice, I know Mike is devastated.  I saw on the news Scott was concerned about some safety issues. He remembered what we as Union Millwrights  always stay alert  and believe in  "safety first".

My friend 🙏

My attempts at this have been numerous and I still do not think that this is adequate.  There are NO words in the English language to describe how I feel.  There is just an empty hole of nothingness.  Scott came from good roots.  I had the pleasure of growing up with,  at that time were the most important people in his life, his grandparents (Mimi and Papa) and both of his parents.  My time at their house was so much I think they thought they had another child.  Scott was so giving from high school to our later life together.  It hurts me to my core to see the pain in his families eyes.  I love them as much as I do my own family.  My numerous memories can never be replaced and I cannot understand or fathom that they are now over.  It is hard, and it sucks, and it is da** sure not fair.  Till we meet again Scott Michael, stay HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.  It will be excruciatingly difficult but we will try.

I met Scott and my future wife in the same 5th grade class when I moved to Pasadena. Scott contributed to my young life by teaching me how to play baseball, and he introduced me to REO Speedwagon. We were band mates through junior high and high school, sharing many of the same friends, still here and some that have gone on before us, and many fun, youthful antics. D&D games at the Henderson's with Michael Perry are a fond memory. Scott was a quiet presence, not a lot of small talk, but his wit, dry as a good martini, was funny and on point. We are truly blessed to have had him in our lives. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest easy brother. We've got it from here.

May the LORD JESUS CHRIST be with you and the rest of your family. Mr. Higgins was well liked and respected throughout the plant. He was looked up to and admired for his wisdom and knowledge as well. His purpose on this earth was to make a difference and let me tell you he definitely did that. GOD BLESS.

Scott and I went to Rayburn together and were friends. While we didn’t stay connected as adults, it is always heartbreaking to hear a classmate has passed so young. Prayers for Scott’s girls and his family.  RIP Scott🦋

Scott will be missed by so many.
 I remember the times we talked about the construction woes and updates of Hwy. 146 (him going South and me North).  That is just one memory.  I am sure others have many more. 
My heart goes out to the girls. I am sure they are devastated; as is the entire family and friends.
