Scott was born and raised in Pasadena. He was a proud member of the Sam Rayburn High School marching band and the San Jacinto College jazz band as a trumpet player. He completed Millwright Apprenticeship School and worked as a Journeyman Millwright and Machinist for over 30 years. All who knew him appreciated and admired his dry wit, dependable nature, and devotion to his family.
He was passionate about classic cars, having owned a 1965 Pontiac Tempest. He had many hobbies, but he most enjoyed spending time with his girls.
Scott is survived by his two girls, Alyssa and Samantha, his mother Myra Higgins (Lynch), his father Kenneth "Mike" Higgins, and numerous other family members, friends, and coworkers who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jonathan Patrick Higgins, his paternal grandparents Kenneth & Alva Higgins, and his maternal grandparents Rhodes & Mary Lynch.
